Worker-owned portable trust

Your PRAMAAN badge travels with you

Workers can carry a portable, worker-owned verification badge that can be shared with households, societies, employers, and platforms with consent-controlled visibility.

Ownership

The badge belongs to the worker.

It is not employer-owned, society-owned, or platform-owned. A requester sees only the allowed signals for the purpose and share context.

What it shows

A badge is a signal, not a guarantee.

The page now separates what a badge shows, what it does not show, and what requires renewal, correction, deletion, or statutory review.

What the badge does not show

Public badge views do not expose raw Aadhaar, PAN, raw documents, OTPs, private phone data, or full address by default. A badge is a verification signal, not a guarantee of future behavior.

Claim guardrail

The badge does not guarantee a job, future conduct, earnings, or legal clearance. Employers, societies, and households remain responsible for statutory or role-specific checks that apply to them.

Worker FAQ

Privacy-first answers without exaggerated claims.

Who owns the PRAMAAN badge?

The worker owns the badge record and controls sharing. It is not owned by an employer, society, household, or platform.

What does it cost?

Worker Basic launch-gated, W-Pro ₹99/year, W-Premium ₹299/year. Planned features must remain marked planned until confirmed.

How long is it valid?

Use 12-month validity where true. Avoid unlimited-duration wording because renewal, expiry, deletion, and correction paths exist.

Who can scan it?

Anyone with the worker-shared QR or link can view the allowed badge surface. Public badge views do not expose sensitive raw documents.

What data is visible?

The badge shows verification status/signals, validity, and share context. It does not expose raw Aadhaar, PAN, OTPs, private documents, or unnecessary identity data.

Can I correct mistakes?

Yes. Workers can use the DSR/correction route and provide supporting context through the approved workflow.

Can I delete it?

Workers can request erasure through the DSR route, subject to retention, legal hold, fraud-prevention, billing, or dispute-record limits.

Can an employer force me to share it?

PRAMAAN positions the badge as worker-controlled sharing, not forced surveillance. Any requester must have a lawful purpose and the worker needs clear share context.

Does it guarantee a job?

No. A badge is a verification signal and portable trust profile. It does not guarantee employment, earnings, future behavior, or statutory clearance.
